Fiat Palio Stile

Fiat Palio was developed by the Italian automaker as their world car specifically for the developing countries. It is currently being manufactured in Brazil, India, Turkey, South Africa and China as a hatchback. There are other versions including a sedan (Siena/Petra in India) and a statiowagon (Palio Weekend in India). Fiat also makes a pickup version of Palio called Strada.

The car has seen many ups and downs in the Indian market. When it was launched, it was perhaps one of the best looking hatchbacks in the Indian market. It was also one of the first performance oriented small car in India.

However, poor marketing strategy from Fiat resulted in Palio largely being ignored by the Indian customer. Times are changing now as the company is collaborating with Tata Motors to renew their products and the latest updated Palio Stile has just been launched in the market at competitive prices.

The car is being sold by both Tata Motors and Fiat dealers in the country.
